New sports guidelines are in effect for all youth sports submissions.

Summaries of individual games are limited to a maximum of 100 words each. For stories on tournaments that include multiple games, reports are limited to a total of 300 words.

The changes are being made in an effort to provide an equal amount of space to all teams. The Bee will make every effort to publish youth sports results the week they are received, but makes no guarantee as to the publication date.

The deadline for stories to be turned in to run in papers published Wednesday and Thursday is still 9 a.m. the Monday and Tuesday before that paper is published. If you have any questions, please call us at 632-4700.
