Buffalo Civil War Roundtable - Three Days at Gettysburg
Thu. Jun 20
Join us Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 7pm at the Lancaster Opera House, 21 Central Ave,
Lancaster for a special look at Picketts Charge.
The Buffalo Civil War Roundtable is pleased to present our final speaker in the Three Days
of Gettysburg lecture series; Mr. J. David Petruzzi, a long time student of American history,
specializing in the Civil War.

He is a noted award winning author of several books, historical advisor to documentary
films, including the forthcoming miniseries To Appomattox to be filmed in 2013, author of
many articles in magazines such as "Americas Civil War", "Civil War Times", "Blue & Gray"
and others.

Petruzzis 2009 work with Steven Stanley produced "The Complete Gettysburg Guide"
winning the US Armys Award for Excellence in the Reference category. As a follow-up to
this Petruzzi narrated an audio guide to the Gettysburg battlefield. The 2011 release of
"The New Gettysburg Campaign handbook" by Petruzzi and Stanley is a companion to their
"Gettysburg Guide". It is packed with narrative, trivia and facts of the entire campaign.
Featuring a design and maps by Stanley, the book has likewise become a best-seller.

His latest book written with Steven Stanley, "The Gettysburg Campaign in Numbers and
Losses", features over 60 new maps and details the losses for 48 engagements. Now
readers can see the exact losses of each army suffered throughout the campaign.

There will be raffle tickets available for some great Lincoln/Gettysburg themed prizes to be
drawn in October.
